Preds helment decal

The Nashville Predators and Boston Bruins honored the victims of Monday's tragic shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville with decals on the players' helmets before the teams played at TD Garden in Boston on Tuesday.

The decals are the school's logo.

Six people, including three children, were killed in the shooting.
The Bruins held a moment of silence before the game and had the names of the victims on the jumbotron.

"Obviously there was a really sad situation in Nashville with the Covenant School," Predators coach John Hynes said. "Our team and the organization certainly was affected by it as well as the Nashville community. Personally, as a parent, I have kids; three daughters that all go to school, and it's just an unfortunate situation, and really thank the police officers that went in in quick order and took care of the situation. So our thoughts and prayers from our team and the organization to the Covenant School and all the families that are affected. We certainly have them in our thoughts."
