Tonight’s Matchup

Utah

  • Center Nick Schmaltz leads the Mammoth with four goals, and is tied for the most goals in the NHL. Captain Clayton Keller’s five assists are tied for second-most in the NHL and are a team-high. Keller and forward Dylan Guenther are tied for the team-lead with five points, and are tied for the sixth-most points in the league. 
  • Utah’s goaltender tandem consists of Karel Vejmelka and Sebastian Cossa. Vejmelka is 1-1-0 with a 1.52 goals-against average, a .917 save percentage, and one shutout. Cossa is 1-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average, and a .947 save percentage.
  • Tuesday is the first of three road games for Utah this week. On Thursday, the Mammoth will travel to Boston to face the Bruins. The trip wraps up on Saturday in Buffalo against the Sabres.

New Jersey
