• Oettinger leads all league netminders in the postseason (minimum four games played) with a .956 save percentage and ranks second with a 1.63 goals-against average.
• Oettinger has also added one shutout, which is tied for the most by any goaltender during the postseason.
• With his shutout in Game 2, Oettinger (23 years, 138 days) became the second-youngest goaltender in franchise history to win a playoff game after Don Beaupre (19 years, 202 days) in Game 2 of the 1981 Preliminary Round with the Minnesota North Stars.
• He became the fifth goaltender in Dallas Stars history (1993-present) to record a shutout in the postseason, becoming the youngest netminder to accomplish this feat.
• He joined the ranks of Anton Khudobin, Kari Lehtonen (2x), Marty Turco (4x) and Ed Belfour (8x) as netminders who have recorded clean sheets for Dallas in the playoffs.
• In his most recent start at home (Game 4), Oettinger turned aside 50 of 54 shots becoming the fifth different goaltender in Stars/North Stars history to make 50+ saves in a playoff game and the first since Ben Bishop in Game 7 of the 2019 Second Round at St. Louis. He also became the only netminder in franchise history to record as many saves in a postseason contest that ended in regulation.
