The National Hockey League (

) and the San Jose Sharks (

) today announced the team's complete 2023-24 preseason and regular season schedule.

San Jose's 82-game regular season schedule features four games against Anaheim, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver and Vegas, has three games against all other Western Conference foes and two matchups against each Eastern Conference team. The Sharks will also appear in six preseason games starting on Sept. 24 and will face Vegas, Anaheim and Los Angeles.

The schedule also features a two-week break at the start of February that includes the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend, which will be held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Feb. 2-3. The Sharks' American Hockey League affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda, will host the AHL all-Star Classic on Feb. 4-5, 2024 at Tech CU Arena. All preseason and regular season games will be broadcast on the Sharks Audio Network via the Sharks + SAP Center App presented by Western Digital. 2023 Foster Hewitt Memorial Award-winning broadcaster Dan Rusanowsky will return behind the mic for his 33rd consecutive season as voice of the Sharks, with color commentary from 10-year veteran Bret Hedican and Drew Remenda, who returns for his third consecutive season and 15th overall with the Sharks. Additional broadcast information for individual games, including television, will be released at a later date.

The Sharks open the season with a four-game home stand, starting October 12 against the defending Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights. San Jose will then host the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 14, Brent Burns and the Carolina Hurricanes on Oct. 17 and 2022-23 President's Trophy winner Boston Bruins on Oct. 19. The Sharks then depart for a five-game road trip, the first of four away stints of five or more games, to close out October with stops in Nashville, Florida, Tampa Bay, Carolina and Washington, respectively.

The Sharks' longest home stand will be five games, occurring twice, from Feb. 17-29 against Columbus, Vegas, Nashville, New Jersey and Anaheim, respectively, and April 1-9 against Seattle, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Arizona and Calgary, respectively. The longest road trip is six games, from Nov. 30-Dec. 10, with dates at Boston, New Jersey, New York (Rangers and Islanders, respectively), Detroit and Vegas.

San Jose also announced the first half of the team's promotional schedule. More information regarding the full season promotional and theme night schedule will be announced at a later date.
