Ceremony timing details
Fans are asked to be in their seats before 6 p.m. to enjoy the retirement ceremony's entire program. Canadian Tire Centre will open to guests at 5 p.m.
The ceremony is scheduled to have a duration of approximately 30 minutes. The full program will contain speeches, special guests and a video tribute to Neil. The ceremony, scheduled to take place prior to player warm-up, will see the game's opening face-off take place at approximatley 7:25 p.m.
Fan Giveaway
All fans attending Friday's game will receive a mini replica of the Neil banner raised to the rafters. The items will be distributed by the Senators Goodwill Ambassadors as fans arrive at each of Canadian Tire Centre's gates.
Memorabilia
The Sens Store will have inventory available to fans who wish to purchase keepsakes of both the retirement ceremony and of Neil's NHL career. The collection will launch exclusively at the Canadian Tire Centre Sens Store location on Friday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. The remaining product from the game will be available on www.ottawateamshop.ca starting on Saturday.
Hosts
Friday's ceremony and game will include four voices. Senators TSN 1200 play-by-play announcer Dean Brown will be joined by colour commentor Gord Wilson and counterpart Nicolas St-Pierre from Unique 94,5 FM to serve as the night's emcees. Senators in-game host Lauren Fine will act as the in-game sideline reporter to interview various alumni guests throughout the evening.
Ceremony broadcast information
Neil's jersey retirement ceremony will be broadcast live on TSN5, TSN1200 and on Unique 94,5 FM.
Tickets
Limited tickets are available to purchase tickets for Friday's game against Chicago, fans are asked to visit ottawasenators.com/tickets or Ticketmaster.ca.
