Sabres.com will put the spotlight on a few prospects each week in our Prospects Update. This week, we'll focus on Matteo Costantini, Devon Levi, and Owen Power and Erik Portillo.
Matteo Costantini has gotten off to a great start to his freshman season at the University of North Dakota. Through 11 games, the 2020 fifth-round pick (131st overall has nine points (4+5) and is riding a five-game point streak (3+3).

He's currently tied for seventh in scoring among NCAA freshmen.
The St. Catharines, Ontario, native (and former Jr. Sabre) was named the NCHC's Rookie of the Week on November 8.

Power, Portillo help Michigan back to No. 1 ranking

The Michigan Wolverines swept Penn State over the weekend and Buffalo's draft picks were a big part of it.
Power, the first-overall pick in 2021, chipped in three assists for his third straight multi-point game on Thursday and continued the streak with a goal and two assists on Friday.
Through 12 games this year, Power has matched his freshman total for goals (3) and has established new career highs in assists (15) and points (18).

Erik Portillo made 33 saves on Thursday, including this gem:

The 2019 third-round pick (67th overall) then recorded a career-high 35 saves on Friday.

Levi also stellar so far this month

Devon Levi has continued his strong play through Northeastern's first four games of November. He's stopped 91 of 96 shots this month to boost his season totals. Through 12 games, he has a record of 8-4-0 with a .943 save percentage and a 1.59 goals-against average.

Buffalo acquired Levi in a trade with Florida this past summer.
