In celebration of Women's History Month, the New York Rangers will host Women's Empowerment Night presented by Chase when they take on the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday, March 15 at Madison Square Garden. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM.
Through non-profit partnerships, storytelling, in-game recognition, and engagement, the Rangers will use Women's Empowerment Night to continue to encourage and advocate for women to be well-represented in every area throughout the community, especially sports.
Prior to Tuesday's game, the Rangers will host a variety of experiences in effort to grow the game, including a clinic on the Madison Square Garden ice with the United States Women's Hockey Team for both adult and youth women's hockey players. At 5:30 PM in the Hulu Theater Lobby, some of the most prominent females within hockey and the sports community will host a pregame panel discussion. Local sportswriter Erica Ayala will moderate the panel and be joined by Team USA stars Amanda Kessel and Abby Roque, and Emma Lovewell from Peloton.
