Preds Fans with American Flag

Nashville, Tenn. (March 4, 2022) - The Nashville Predators organization announced today that they will host the Ford Military Salute week beginning on March 8 as the Preds face the Stars at Bridgestone Arena. The annual weeklong initiative will feature military elements activated on the plaza, on the concourse, throughout the in-game presentation each night and on social media @PredsNHL all week.
Prior to all three games, fans can interact with every branch of the U.S. Military on the Bridgestone Arena Plaza. From viewing military vehicles and participating in fitness challenges to enjoying the music of the Fort Campbell band, there will be plenty of activities for fans of all ages. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to thank current military members and veterans for their service to our country. The Preds will host a pregame reception on March 8 to celebrate military members and thank sponsors for their support. Select Predators players will Zoom with an honored military member prior to each game, as they have throughout the entire 2021-22 season.

During pregame warmups on March 8, players will wear specialized military jerseys that will be up for auction to benefit a variety of Military-focused organizations in the Middle Tennessee area. To bid, fans can text PREDS to 76278. The Nashville Predators Foundation empowered by SmileDirectClub will also have Military Mystery Pucks for purchase through the auction. For a $25 donation, fans can purchase a puck autographed by a Predators player.
Additionally, the 101st Airborne Division Honor Guard and Rappel Master Team out of Fort Campbell will be featured during the March 10 and March 12 games.
In March 2020, the Nashville Predators launched Ford Military Salute Week by announcing their partnership with Middle Tennessee State University and the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center. Through this partnership, the Predators and the Daniels Center at MTSU came together to support the local population of military-connected students who struggle financially to reach their higher education and career goals.
Predators fans, Bridgestone Arena patrons or anyone in the community who is interested in contributing to the General's Fund in honor of Ford Military Salute Week can text PREDS4MTVets to 41444 on their mobile phone. They can also visit the MTSU Foundation website at

Throughout the year, the Nashville Predators also offer a variety of military-specific ticket and support programs. All men and women that serve in our armed services or as first responders can receive $20 off a Lower Bowl ticket or $10 off an Upper Bowl ticket by showing their military ID when purchasing single-game tickets for a Predators home game. The Predators Foundation and Sudden Service have also teamed up to benefit Folds of Honor, which provides scholarships to children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members. Sudden Service will donate $100 to Folds of Honor for every regular-season goal scored at home!
