It was a little cold during the event, but I think all of us were more focused on not falling into the water. I think they told us that it was 30-feet deep or something like that. When you look at it from the strip, you'd never imagine there's that much water. It was a great time and a really unique event.
Honestly, I really enjoy the skills portion of All-Star Weekend. It's just really relaxed. You get to chat with some guys you've never met, and also catch-up with other guys you haven't seen in a while. It's the one time we're all in the same place, and it's fun to see what all the guys can do.
It's my goal to meet and talk to every guy that's here.
Well, that and winning the All-Star Game on Saturday.
We lost to the Pacific Division in the championship game when I was first here back in 2020, so it'd be fun to win this time around. You tell yourself that it's just guys having fun, but by the end of the game you can tell every guy on the ice wants to win. I think the 3-on-3 format is great. It's fun for the fans and fun for us to play. We're going to give it all for the Atlantic Division out there.
It's also going to be great to have Bruno behind the bench.
He's awesome, so hopefully I'll get some nice ice time.
See you back in South Florida,
Jonathan Huberdeau
