Florida Panthers Launch School Floorball Program

Floorball program presented in conjunction with 44 Miami-Dade county schools

SUNRISE, Fla -The Florida Panthers launched a new school floorball program today, hosting all 44 Miami-Dade county schools at the BB&T Center for a teacher-training day. The program will begin in Miami-Dade county schools this upcoming year.

The Panthers will provide floorball equipment including nets, sticks and balls to the Dade county schools. The physical education teachers will learn how to properly build leagues and integrate floorball into their after school program. The club will also be providing instruction manuals and posters for school use.
