EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers held an optional skate Friday at Rogers Place following the club's 5-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.
Gaetan Haas joined the Oilers for practice and Tyler Ennis skated as well. Defenceman Slater Koekkoek, who blocked an Elias Pettersson one-timer against the Canucks, was also on the ice.
Goaltender Mike Smith was absent from practice and it was announced later on Friday he has been placed on long-term injured reserve.
