Josh Morrissey will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Wednesday.
The Winnipeg Jets defenseman is facing discipline for cross-checking Minnesota Wild center Eric Staal in Game 4 of the Western Conference First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The incident occurred at 16:38 of the first period at Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday. There was no penalty assessed on the play. The Jets won 2-0 and lead the best-of-7 series 3-1. Game 5 is at Bell MTS Place on Friday (7:30 p.m. ET; USA, SN, TVAS2, FS-N).
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: cross-checking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
