Tyler Toffoli scored two goals for the Los Angeles Kings in a 4-1 win against the Vancouver Canucks at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Anze Kopitar and Dion Phaneuf also scored for the Kings, who got 14 saves from Jonathan Quick. Michael Amadio had two assists. Sam Gagner scored for the Canucks, who got 18 saves from Jacob Markstrom. After Gagner tied it 1-1 at 1:02 of the second period, Toffoli gave the Kings a 2-1 lead at 5:04 with his second goal. Kopitar (3:15) and Phaneuf (3:57) scored 42 seconds apart in the third period to push it to the 4-1 final score. Each team was 0-for-5 on the power play.
