Zammoth

Utah Mammoth fans are going to have quite the icebreaker.

On Tuesday, the team revealed a new design for its Zamboni, a Mammoth-themed ice resurfacing machine that they are calling the “Zammoth.”

Team owner Ryan Smith posted photos of the new design on his social media.

The Zammoth uses the same Zamboni that was used in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

On the outside of the machine, the team put together a sleek Mammoth design, tusks and all.

Up to eight fans can ride the machine at a time, and it will run pregame and between intermissions at Delta Center.

Zammoth will make its debut before Tuesday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers (9:30 p.m. ET; ESPN, SN360).
