Jack Hughes got a friend in Trevor Zegras.

The Anaheim Ducks forward cheered on Hughes and the New Jersey Devils against the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 4 of Eastern Conference Second Round at the Prudential Center on Tuesday.

Zegras sat with the Devils forward's dad, Jim, at the game.

Hughes and Zegras have known each other since childhood, playing against each other as kids and became friends during their time in the U.S. National Team Development Program.

"Yeah, it's good [he's here]. He's obviously a really good friend," Hughes said in an intermission interview to ESPN's Emily Kaplan. "So, for him to be here, you know it's pretty cool."
