With the NHL pausing the 2019-20 regular season on March 12 due to the concerns surrounding the coronavirus, NHL.com is taking stock of each of the League's 31 teams.
Today, a look at three memorable moments for the New Jersey Devils at the pause:

In February, the New Jersey Devils honored the 2000 Stanley Cup Champions, but a brand new moment was at the center of the event.
Petr Sykora skated with the Cup with the Devils for the first time; he was injured June 10, 2000, when New Jersey finished its six-game victory against the Dallas Stars in the Cup Final, and was unable to get on the ice during the initial celebration.
But 20 years later, he made up for it in front of the home crowd with his former teammates on hand.

Before he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Feb. 16, center Blake Coleman scored a goal for the ages during the Devils' season opener against the Winnipeg Jets on Oct. 4. Perhaps there was no one more surprised that Coleman himself that his falling, one-handed effort actually went in.

There's losing with grace, and then there's losing like a champ, and Miles Wood certainly qualifies for the latter. After finishing in last place in the Devils' fantasy football league, the forward accepted his punishment and wore a gold snakeskin suit to a game Feb. 27.
