FEWEST GOALS AGAINST
Coming into Sunday's action in the NHL, the Jets have allowed the fewest goals against (31) in the league. A real sign that they are taking care of business in their own end and cutting down on the goals allowed off the rush, a place where they truly struggled last season. Josh Morrissey says the team takes a lot of pride in how they have kept the goals against down, but they have had help between the pipes.
"Our goaltending with Hellebuyck and Rittich, I mean Helly has been unbelievable, he's the best goalie in the league. We'd like to cut down on the chances against and we'll continue to get better at that," said Morrissey during the first intermission last night in Calgary.
"So far when you have him in the net, we're starting to see some of our defensive game improving, that's great for us."

DUBOIS STREAKING
Pierre-Luc Dubois extended his goal scoring streak to four games last night with his seventh of the season and tied the longest goal streak of his career. Rick Bowness feels that when Dubois plays with passion and emotion on a consistent basis, he is a threat anytime he is on the ice.
"Our challenge with him and I've talked to him is that every shift be dialed in and be hard to play against," said Bowness Saturday.
"When he's moving and he's a big powerful guy. He's hard to play against."
KRAKEN CONFIDENT
The Jets face Seattle this evening for the first time this season and this Kraken team is getting the goaltending they were expecting last season from Philipp Grubauer. However, Grubauer is hurt and Martin Jones has done an admirable job filling in. The 32-year-old has put up a 7-4-1 record, a 2.32 goals against average and a .910 save percentage.
