T.J. Oshie, daughter accept 22 Pushup Challenge

Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie took some time out of his offseason to raise awareness for a good cause in the most adorable way possible.
Oshie posted a video to his Twitter account of him accepting the 22 Pushup Challenge, which is for a serious cause, but Oshie had some fun with it. He enlisted his daughter, Lyla, to help him out. She was followed by a surprise appearance from the family dog.

The 22 Pushup Challenge raises awareness for the on average 22 United States military veterans who commit suicide each day. The viral online challenge is similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge from 2014 that raised awareness for and encouraged donations to ALS research.
Oshie has challenged Capitals teammate Nicklas Backstrom to complete the same task. Oshie will represent Team USA at the World Cup of Hockey 2016 next month in Toronto; Backstrom will play for Team Sweden. Oshie also challenged forward Danny Kristo, a member of the St. Louis Blues organization, and television analyst Jeremy Roenick.
Oshie is entering his second season with the Capitals after playing for the St. Louis Blues from 2008-15. He had 26 goals and 25 assists in 80 regular-season games and 10 points in 12 Stanley Cup Playoff games last season.
