Weber shows off speed to outrace horse in commercial

Shea Weber is known for being a workhorse, but can he actually outrace a horse?
The answer is yes, as the Montreal Canadiens defenseman showed off his speed, skating to victory against a cowboy-backed horse in a commercial for McDonald's Canada.

The race winner earned bragging rights and the requisite might to certify McDonald's new mighty-angus burger. A 200-foot patch of ice was constructed in a field amid the rocky mountains of Alberta so Weber, known more for his slapshot than his speed, could use his primary mode of transportation, his skates, in the race.
