Sergei Bobrovsky's place is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Mostly because he recently cut down a giant tree and hauled it back to his home.

Bobrovsky chronicled his first-ever Christmas tree acquisition on Twitter. He and Columbus Blue Jackets teammate Artemi Panarin went to Timbuk Farms in Granville, Ohio, at the suggestion of a few other Blue Jackets.

"There were so many trees. It was a fun day," Bobrovsky said.
After originally joking (in Russian) about going for a massive, seemingly 30-foot tree, Bobrovsky grabbed his saw and took a ride in a sled to find the perfect Christmas centerpiece.
"It was a big tree so it wasn't easy," Bobrovsky said. "I did it myself. It was the first time I've done that. It was cool. It's about eight feet. I carried it on my back (to the car)."
The goalie eventually got it home.

Next up? Buying lights. Bobrovsky is going to need a whole lot of them.
