Oskar Lindblom (two goals, assist), Corban Knight (goal, two assists) and Scott Laughton (three assists) each had three points for the Philadelphia Flyers in a 6-4 win against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.

Dale Weise, German Rubtsov and Mikhail Vorobyov scored for Philadelphia. Brian Elliott played the first period and allowed two goals on 13 shots. Carter Hart made 25 saves, including 17 in the third period.
Matt Beleskey, Ryan Spooner, Pavel Buchnevich and Filip Chytil scored for New York. Henrik Lundqvist allowed five goals on 22 shots in 26:37. Dustin Tokarski made 10 saves.
Spooner did not play in the third period because of a lower-body injury.

Kuokkanen has three points for Hurricanes in win against Lightning

Janne Kuokkanen had a goal and two assists, and the Carolina Hurricanes swept a back-to-back against the Tampa Bay Lightning with a 6-1 win at PNC Center.
Carolina won 4-1 at Amalie Arena on Tuesday in the preseason opener for each team.
Dougie Hamilton, Martin Necas, Micheal Ferland, Julien Gauthier and Jaccob Slavin scored for the Hurricanes. Justin Williams had three assists.
Boris Katchouk scored for the Lightning.

Ennis scores twice for Maple Leafs in win against Senators

Tyler Ennis scored two goals to help the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 4-1 win against the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre.
Auston Matthews and Jeremy Bracco also scored, and Patrick Marleau had two assists for Toronto. Frederik Andersen started and made the save on all 19 shots he faced. Calvin Pickard made five saves in the third period.
Filip Chlapik scored a power-play goal for Ottawa. Craig Anderson made the save on 16 of 17 shots in 30:19, and Mike McKenna made eight saves in relief.

Rasmussen, Red Wings defeat Penguins in OT

Michael Rasmussen scored 1:32 into overtime to give the Detroit Red Wings a 3-2 victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins in their preseason opener at Little Caesars Arena.
Rasmussen, the No. 9 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, scored off a pass from Dylan Larkin.
Derek Grant gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead 18 seconds into the second period, but Trevor Hamilton tied it 1-1 for the Red Wings at 16:17.
Pittsburgh took a 2-1 on Ryan Haggerty's goal 9:02 into the third period before Detroit tied it 2-2 on a goal by Jussi Jokinen at 10:00.
Jimmy Howard (29:24) and Harri Sateri (32:08) each made 14 saves on 15 shots for the Red Wings. Tristan Jarry played the whole game for the Penguins and made 41 saves.

Dadonov, McCann lift Panthers past Canadiens

Evgenii Dadonov and Jared McCann each scored two goals to help the Florida Panthers defeat the Montreal Canadiens 5-2 at Bell Centre.
Dadonov scored at 4:32 and on the power play at 11:07 for a 2-0 lead in the first period before Matthew Peca brought the Canadiens within 2-1 with a power-play goal at 13:19.
McCann scored shorthanded 10:57 into the third period to give Florida a 3-1 lead, and he made it 4-1 at 12:57. Nikita Scherbak scored at 15:58 to pull Montreal to 4-2, but Nick Bjugstad made it 5-2 with an empty-net goal with 52 seconds remaining.
Roberto Luongo started and made the save on all 18 shots he faced in the first two periods. Michael Hutchinson made 11 saves in relief.
Carey Price made the save on 20 of 22 shots in 31:57 for the Canadiens, and Antti Niemi made 16 saves in relief.

Bozak's late heroics power Blues past Wild

Tyler Bozak scored two goals in 27 seconds late in the third period to lift the St. Louis Blues to a 3-2 win against the Minnesota Wild at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.
Sammy Blais also scored for St. Louis.
Brennan Menell and Justin Kloos scored for Minnesota.

Rittich makes 26 saves for Flames in win against Canucks

David Rittich made 26 saves over the first two periods, including a penalty shot, to help the Calgary Flames to a 4-1 win against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena.
Rittich, who is battling for the Flames backup goalie job behind Mike Smith, denied Canucks forward Brandon Sutter at 2:57 of the second period.
Spencer Foo, Matthew Phillips, Andrew Mangiapane and Juuso Valimaki scored for Calgary. Tyler Parsons made the save on 12 of 13 shots in the third.
Brendan Leipsic scored for Vancouver. Thatcher Demko allowed three goals on 21 shots in 39:46, and Michael DiPietro made 10 saves.
