Flo Rida will headline the entertainment for the 2018 GEICO NHL All-Star Skills Competition™ on Saturday, Jan. 27, at AMALIE Arena. The Florida native's performance will help usher in the players during introductions for the six-event showcase of hockey's top talent. Tampa's own Joshua Cruz & The Experience will entertain fans throughout the event as the house band. The GEICO NHL All-Star Skills Competition™ will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN in the U.S. and CBC, Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada.
Country music chart-topper Chase Rice will perform during the player introductions for the 2018 Honda NHL® All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 28, at AMALIE Arena. Multiplatinum selling country artist Brett Young will sing the U.S. national anthem while Canadian Country Music Association Female Singer of the Year nominee Lindsay Ell will perform the Canadian national anthem. The All-Star Game will be broadcast live at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC in the U.S. and CBC, Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada.
On the heels of the successful release of their fifth studio album, Let the Record Play, Moon Taxi will serve as the house band for the All-Star Game. Sunday's performance follows their opening set at the Enterprise NHL® All-Star Friday Night, a free concert at Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa to commence the 2018 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend festivities. Hosted by Nashville Predators defenseman and 2018 NHL All-Star captain P.K. Subban and 93.3 FLZ's Scotty Davis and featuring a headlining performance by Fitz and The Tantrums, the Friday, Jan. 27, concert will be open to the public at 8 p.m., rain or shine.
