If there are such things as homestands during the preseason, the Ducks are in the midst of one right now. This marks the second of three consecutive games at Honda Center during exhibition play, as tonight the Ducks welcome the visiting LA Kings.

The Ducks are still looking for their first win of the preseason, having lost the first two to the San Jose Sharks and Arizona Coyotes, respectively. Anaheim has been outscored 10-1 in those games, with rookie left wing Max Jones scoring the club's lone goal in a 5-1 loss two nights ago at home to the Coyotes.
The Ducks will close out this "homestand" on Sunday night against the expansion Vegas Golden Knights before traveling to Tucson for a game against the Coyotes on Monday. Then, the Ducks will host San Jose on September 28 before concluding the preseason on September 30 at STAPLES Center.
The Kings, meanwhile, are 1-0-1 thus far in preseason competition. LA lost its preseason opener, 4-3, in overtime at home against the Vancouver Canucks last Saturday, but rebounded yesterday with a 5-2 victory over the Canucks in Shanghai. (The Kings and Canucks are playing two preseason games against each other in China). Following tonight's game, the Kings will face the Canucks tomorrow in Beijing, take on the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena on September 26, and then close out their preseason with home games on September 28 against Arizona and September 30 against Anaheim.
Lineups for tonight's game have not yet been announced, but the Kings will likely dress a youthful squad since the majority of their veterans are in China.
