Arizona (22-32-7) has lost nine consecutive games vs. the Bruins and has not defeated Boston since the teams opened the 2010-11 season with a pair of games against each other in Prague, Czech Republic.
Mike Smith, who has missed the past two games because of illness, is expected to start in goal.
"Mike's ready to get back at it," Head Coach Dave Tippett said. "Hopefully he jumps back in and gives us a good game."
Forward Radim Vrbata will enter the game with a nine-game point streak, which is two shy of the Coyotes record set by Jeremy Roenick (1999) and Shane Doan (2008). Vrbata also owns a four-game goal-scoring streak. Vrbata is tied for third place with Keith Tkachuk for most points by a Coyotes player with 334. Only Doan (965) and Roenick (379) have more.
Forward Max Domi is riding a career-high four-game point streak with a goal and four assists over that span. Despite missing 23 games, Domi ranks third on the team with 26 points.
Center Alexander Burmistrov, who missed Sunday's game vs. Buffalo because of an upper-body injury, will be back in the lineup vs. the Bruins.
Forward Teemu Pulkkinen led the stretch at Arizona's morning skate on Tuesday, but he won't make his debut with the Coyotes against the Bruins. Arizona acquired Pulkkinen via trade with the Minnesota Wild on Monday. He last played in an NHL game on Dec. 17 vs. Arizona.
"Teemu's a skilled right-shot scorer with natural instincts," General Manager John Chayka said. "He's a good fit for our group. We're happy to have him."
Boston (32-24-6) has won six of seven games since Bruce Cassidy was named head coach on Feb. 7.
"We're clicking right now," forward David Backes recently told reporters. "... Plenty of guys are contributing to wins, not just all on the scoresheet, doing the little things. It's winning hockey and we need to keep this going."
The Bruins are in third place in the Atlantic Division, but just one point ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs with 20 games to play.
Forward Brad Marchand leads the team in goals (27), assists (37) and points (64). Only four players in the League have produced more points than Marchand, who has scored a goal in three of the past four games.
Goalie Tuukka Rask ranks fifth in the NHL with 29 victories and owns an 8-1-0 record vs. the Coyotes. His goals-against average in those games is 1.66 and his save percentage is .940.
Forward David Pastrnak is having a breakout season with 51 points (26 goals, 25 assists) in 55 games. The 20-year-old entered the season with 53 points in 97 NHL games.
