CANUCKS CONNECTIONS
Cory Schneider was Vancouver's first choice, 26th overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft and played parts of five seasons with the Canucks from 2008-13. New Jersey traded the ninth overall selection in the 2013 Draft to acquire Schneider on Jun. 30, 2013. The Canucks used that pick to select Bo Horvat…John Moore and Derek Dorsett were teammates in both Columbus and with the NY Rangers; they were both acquired by NY in the trade that sent Marian Gaborik to the Blue Jackets…Brandon Sutter is the son of former Devils' Head Coach Brent Sutter.
