The Ducks earned their third consecutive victory with a 3-1 triumph over the Winnipeg Jets at Honda Center. With the win, Anaheim moved into a tie with San Jose atop the Pacific Division with 91 points (the Sharks hold the tiebreaker with more regulation/overtime wins).

Anaheim recorded its fourth consecutive 40+ win season, tying a franchise record that was originally established from 2005-06 to 2008-09. The Ducks are one of only four NHL teams with 40-or-more wins in each of the last four seasons, including the Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Ducks improved to 8-2-1 since the end of their bye week on March 3, ranking tied for second in the NHL in wins and tied for third in standing points (17) during that stretch. Anaheim also improves to 7-1-1 in its last nine home games. Since January 1, Anaheim is 15-4-2 at Honda Center, which ranks second among NHL teams in home standings points (32) and wins.
Corey Perry scored his 15th goal of the season to open the scoring late in the first period. Perry has 4-1=5 points in his last eight games.
Andrew Cogliano added his 15th goal, which also marked his first game-winning goal of the season. Ryan Kesler added his 31st assist on the Cogliano GWG and has 1-3=4 points in his last six games.
Jakob Silfverberg set a career high with his 21st goal of the season and recorded his eighth multi-point game (1-1=2).
Jonathan Bernier stopped 17-of-18 shots to earn his third consecutive victory and 17th win of the season. Since coming out of Anaheim's bye week on March 3, Bernier has posted an 8-1-1 record with one shutout, a 1.58 GAA and .948 SV% in 10 starts. Since that date, Bernier leads NHL goaltenders in wins while ranking second in SV% (min. 5 starts) and GAA (min. 5 starts).
Tonight's win also helped Anaheim improve to 16-7-2 all-time against the Winnipeg franchise, including a 9-2-1 mark in the last 12 games.

On the game
I thought we started on time. We had a good first period. We had some big saves by Bernie [Jonathan Bernier] off a couple turnovers. We can eliminate those because they were mental mistakes, but at the same time, I thought we did some good things early on.
On raising their level of play
We want to play well going down the stretch and you want to peak at the right time. Everybody is starting to find their groove.

On the game
They had some Grade-A chances despite having 18 shots, but our forecheck was strong tonight. We spent a lot of time in their zone and definitely deserved that win tonight.
On his recent stretch of games
I feel good. It's the momentum. The more you play, the better you feel. The confidence just builds with every game. It's a group thing. In the room, we feel good about ourselves. We feel confident. When we go into the third period and we have the lead, we all know what we need to do, and we do it out there.

We're climbing in the right direction and finding different ways to win hockey games, which is encouraging. Tonight was a pretty complete game for the most part besides a few turnovers early in the hockey game. We kept a pretty high-scoring team at bay for most of the night. Good win for us.
On being comfortable winning low-scoring games
It's always been our identity. As players, we know we're not a run-and-gun type of team. That's not the identity of our group. With the way our goaltenders are playing, and the way we're coming together defensively, it's encouraging.

On the recent stretch of games
You play the game for one reason, and that's to win. If you pile up enough wins, you're going to place yourself in a good position to qualify for the playoffs. Our focus is every game and taking it one game at a time. Do what we do and play the right way.
On Perry's offense
We need our goal scorers to get hot. We haven't created a lot of offense 5-on-5, but we're getting more looks on the power play. Our offensive players are starting to create more with shooting. We're a dangerous hockey club, but we're still going to have to take on the mandate that we're going to have to win games 2-1, 1-0 or 3-2. One-goal hockey games.

On the Ducks' second goal
It's tough. We battled hard all night, for the full 60 minutes. It's unfortunate to have a bounce like that go in, and end up being the game-winning goal, but that's the game of hockey. We did a good job of putting a bad bounce behind us and keep battling. We had some good scoring chances from that point on. It shows a lot about the guys to not get down on themselves when a bad goal happens.
On his play
The more you play, the more things become routine and the easier it is to make reads off the play. I felt good tonight, but that's a tough team to play against. A bunch of big bodies and they get a lot of shots. When you get a 30-shot night against Anaheim, it feels like a 60-shot night because they make you work for every save. I felt good with my game, and I'm happy with the way the guys played in front of me tonight too.

On the team's performance
We battled pretty hard. Obviously, back-to-back we wanted to come out and have a good push. We didn't like the way we finished in the third yesterday. We battled pretty hard, and would've liked to come out with the win.
On the Ducks
They play a hard-style game. They have good sticks, they play physical and they block you out in the [offensive] zone. They did a good job of that tonight. They don't give you a whole lot. They are a good defensive team.

On challenges the Ducks presented
They were pretty strong and able to control the puck in the neutral zone, they got a lot of movement from their back-end. We ended up being far more man-to-man than you would want to be because you can't get the puck to the wall and seal it on the wall.
On Hutchinson's recent play
I think he's been far more aggressive in terms of trying to find the puck and he has a little more fight in his game. There has been a lot more traffic in front later on in the year and it is almost a game more suited for him and he fights hard for it.
