Nolan-Patrick-PHI

Center Nolan Patrick was placed on injured reserve by the Philadelphia Flyers with an upper-body injury on Tuesday, and is listed as day to day.
Patrick, the No. 2 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, hasn't played since being hit by Anaheim Ducks center Chris Wagner during the Flyers' 6-2 loss on Oct. 24. Patrick practiced the following day but has sat out games against the Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs and Arizona Coyotes.

Patrick and defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere (upper body) skated on their own before practice Tuesday but will not travel with the Flyers for games against the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, NHL.TV) and the St. Louis Blues on Thursday.
The Flyers also placed defenseman Andrew MacDonald on injured reserve and called up defenseman Will O'Neill from Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League. MacDonald is out 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury, sustained in a 2-1 win against the Edmonton Oilers on Oct. 21.
