Situation Room: van Riemsdyk's goal overturned

At 16:50 of the first period in the Flyers/Blue Jackets game, Columbus requested a Coach's Challenge to review whether Jakub Voracek was off-side prior to James van Riemsdyk's goal.

After reviewing all available replays and consulting with the Linesman, the Situation Room determined that Voracek entered the attacking zone before the puck, without possession and control.
Rule 83.1 states that, "a player actually controlling the puck who shall cross the line ahead of the puck shall not be considered 'off-side,' provided he had possession and control of the puck prior to his skates crossing the blue line." Voracek's entry did not meet this criteria.
Therefore, the original call is overturned - no goal Philadelphia Flyers.
The clock is re-set to show 3:26 (16:34 elapsed time), when the off-side infraction occurred.
