Situation Room: Bjorkstrand's goal is overturned

At 13:21 of the first period in the Flyers/Blue Jackets game, the Situation Room initiated a video review to examine a play at the Philadelphia net.

Video review determined that Columbus' Oliver Bjorkstrand used a distinct kicking motion to kick the puck which then deflected off defenseman Ivan Provorov and into the Philadelphia net. According to Rule 49.2 (i) "A kicked puck that deflects off the body of any player of either team (including the goalkeeper) shall be ruled no goal." No goal Columbus.
