Mark Scheifele and Skyler McKenzie each scored two goals for the Winnipeg Jets in a 5-3 win against the Edmonton Oilers at Bell MTS Place on Sunday.

Scheifele gave the Jets a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal 3:45 into the first period. Kailer Yamamoto tied it 1-1 at 7:33 before Ethan Bear gave the Oilers a 2-1 lead with a power-play goal at 13:02.
McKenzie tied it 2-2 at 7:42 of the second period, and Scheifele made it 3-2 with a shorthanded goal at 10:01.
Blake Wheeler, who also had two assists, scored a power-play goal to make it 4-2 at 7:24 of the third period. McKenzie extended the lead to 5-2 at 10:23.
Yamamoto scored his second of the game for the Oilers to cut it to 5-3 with 40 seconds left in the third period.
Dennis Everberg and Dustin Byfuglien each had two assists, and Connor Hellebuyck made 38 saves for Winnipeg.
Mikko Koskinen, who signed a one-year contract on May 1, allowed five goals on 21 shots for Edmonton, which outshot the Jets 41-21.

Sateri, Red Wings top Penguins

Harri Sateri made 29 saves for the Detroit Red Wings in a 3-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena.
Michael Rasmussen, who the Red Wings selected with the No. 9 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, scored at 4:07 of the second period to tie it 1-1. Andreas Athanasiou scored two minutes later to give the Red Wings a 2-1 lead, and Trevor Daley extended the lead to 3-1 at 9:54.
Teddy Blueger cut it to 3-2 at 11:46 of the second period.
Ryan Haggerty gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead at 6:34 of the first period.
Casey DeSmith got the start for Pittsburgh and allowed three goals on 13 shots in 29:54. He was replaced by Tristan Jarry, who made 20 saves.

Blais, Thomas carry Blues past Blue Jackets

Sammy Blais scored two goals, Robert Thomas had three assists, and the St. Louis Blues defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-1 at Nationwide Arena.
Blais gave St. Louis a 2-1 lead 35 seconds into the second period, and made it 3-1 at 6:49 with his fourth of the preseason. Thomas had an assist on each goal.
Ivan Barbashev increased the Blues' lead to 4-1 at 19:37, and Dmitrij Jaskin made it 5-1 with a power-play goal 1:16 into the third period.
Cam Atkinson gave the Blue Jackets a 1-0 lead 7:25 into the first period before Chris Butler tied it 1-1 at 11:07.
Ville Husso made 16 saves for the Blues. Sergei Bobrovsky made 22 saves for the Blue Jackets.
