Logan Couture, like most of us, has a lot of free time on his hands during the NHL pause, and he wants to help you fill it.

The San Jose Sharks captain started a book club to pass the time during the coronavirus pandemic, starting with the best-selling 2019 legal thriller "The Rule of Law" by John Lescroart.

Tweet from @Logancouture: Hey Sharks fans. With some free time, I enjoy getting into a good book and so I created my own book club to share with you.First, I'm reading The Rule of the Law by @johnlescroart. Once I'm done, I'll share my review.Join me: https://t.co/cKfDPuMyAC pic.twitter.com/0rVUwFnaHb

"Lescroart is an incredible San Francisco-based author, and many of his writings take place in the Bay Area" he told the Sharks website, where he will also be publishing a review of the book.

Couture isn't the only hockey people starting a book club during these times.

The Vegas Golden Knights started a book club on Facebook with "The Game" by Ken Dryden as the first selection.

Washington Capital goalie Braden Holtby and his wife Brandi are also diving into books during the break. Holtby offered his recommendations through Brandi's Twitter account, which include Charles Bukowski's autobiographical novel "Ham on Rye," Chad Harbach's 2011 novel "The Art of Fielding" and Robert Pirsig's 1974 fictional novel "The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance."

Tweet from @bbholtby: Looking for more? Heres Bradens recent reads! His favorites being The Art of Fielding, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and Ham on Rye. 📚 pic.twitter.com/swKp8KbRDE
