The hockey world is remembering those who served in the military.
The NHL spent Remembrance Day and Veterans Day on Sunday celebrating service members in arenas and on social media. The St. Louis Blues invited fans to join veteran Eva Millar-Galvan singing the national anthem before their game against the Minnesota Wild. They also sported camouflage jerseys for warmups as part of their military appreciation game.
Many NHL players, including Columbus Blue Jackets captain Nick Foligno and Vancouver Canucks center Bo Horvat, took to Twitter to post their gratitude for the service of military members in both the United States and Canada.
For those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and those who continue to risk their lives to keep us safe at home, we will never forget. To all our veterans and your families, Thank you! #VeteransDay2018#RemembranceDay2018
