Devils Autism Awareness Night

The New Jersey Devils were joined by new friends during walk-ins on Tuesday to help celebrate Autism Acceptance Night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The guests are members of Nassan's Place, a nonprofit corporation that provides educational and recreational programs, social outings, and resources to children and families affected by autism.

Some of the kids had on Devils gear, while others were wearing Autism Acceptance Night T-shirts. Some even got autographs on the way in.
Also as part of Autism Acceptance Night, the Devils are having Alfredo Calderon perform the national anthem. Calderon is a Devils fan with Asperger's syndrome. The Light Up the Rock ceremony will include Brody Shinderman, a 12-year-old who is a part of the autistic community.
