Tweet from @CanadiensMTL: The Canadiens agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with Mikhail Sergachev.

The 6-foot-2, 208-pound defender was No. 8 on NHL Central Scouting's final ranking of North American skaters.

Sergachev is the second member of the 2016 draft class to sign an entry-level contract. Pierre-Luc Dubois, the third selection, signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets earlier Friday.
