Actor Matt Doherty - who played the role of Lester Averman in the hit movie - stopped by the Minnesota Wild's game on Sunday against the Washington Capitals. Doherty met with Wild forward Mats Zuccarello, defenseman Matt Dumba and goalie Marc-Andre Fleury before the game at the Xcel Energy Center.
The 1992 movie takes place in Minnesota and was filmed there as well. There were three movies in the Mighty Ducks series. Fleury probably got a pretty good, "Hum goalie, goalie, goalie!" chant from the actor.
