BOSTON - The Canadiens announced following Thursday night's game that forward Josh Anderson will miss the remainder of the season due to a high ankle sprain.

Anderson underwent further testing on Wednesday after leaving Tuesday night's game against the Lightning. He therefore did not travel with the team to Boston for Thursday night's contest against the Bruins.
The 28-year-old scored 21 goals and added 11 assists for a total of 32 points in 69 games with the Canadiens this season.
The Burlington, ON native registered his 200th career NHL point on March 13 against the Colorado Avalanche.
