MONTREAL – Martin St-Louis hinted at it the day before, and now it’s confirmed: forward Kirby Dach will be making his return to the lineup on Tuesday night against Minnesota.

The Habs head coach announced that Dach, who missed 31 games with a fractured foot, will play on a line with Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki.

The good news, however, was accompanied by another injury announcement: forward Alexandre Texier will not face the Wild, as he’s currently day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

St-Louis also announced that Jakub Dobes will get the start on Tuesday, and that Jayden Struble will draw in for Arber Xhekaj on the backend.

The Canadiens held an optional morning skate at the Bell Centre in preparation for the game, although only a handful of players did not take part.
