Quick NYR CBJ laugh

His time there was, well, quick. But clearly unforgettable.

New York Rangers goalie Jonathan Quick got a good laugh when he was welcomed back by the Columbus Blue Jackets on the scoreboard at Nationwide Arena.

Quick was traded to Columbus by the Los Angeles Kings after 16 seasons and two Stanley Cup titles, but he only spent one day as a member of the Blue Jackets.

At the time it didn't stop the Blue Jackets from making an altered photo of him in a home blue Columbus sweater and thanking him for his nearly 24-hour tenure.

Quick, of course, probably didn't mind the fast turnaround as he was dealt to the Vegas Golden Knights, who went on to win the Stanley Cup.

Quick, who signed with the Rangers this offseason, was 5-2 with a 3.13 goals-against average for the Golden Knights before being shelved by an injury. On Saturday, he held up his glove hand and waved to the crowd while cracking a big smile.

We fully acknowledge it is very easy to smile knowing you've won three Stanley Cup titles.
