* The Blackhawks won their seventh consecutive home game against the Canadiens, dating to Oct. 18, 2006 (MTL: 0-6-1), and improved to 8-1-2 at United Center in 2016-17, with their lone regulation loss coming in their home opener.
* Corey Crawford made 21 saves and improved to 7-0-2 in his last nine games, and 8-3-2 with a 2.01 goals-against average, .934 save percentage and two shutouts this season. Crawford, a native of Montreal, also boosted his record to 6-0-2 in eight career games against his hometown team.
