Hamm wishes Blues luck from 'Top Gun: Maverick' premiere in San Diego

Actor and die-hard St. Louis fan sends well wishes in Twitter video

Jon Hamm isn't rinkside for the St. Louis Blues game, but he's there in spirit.

The actor couldn't resist giving the Blues a shoutout from the "Top Gun: Maverick" premiere -- in which Hamm plays Vice Admiral Cyclone -- in San Diego on Wednesday. The Blues are away at Xcel Energy Center for Game 2 of the Western Conference First Round against the Minnesota Wild.

Hamm is a lifelong Blues fan, having called Blues games in
2019 and 2022 as a guest in the booth
. He is also known for
judging the 2022 adidas NHL Breakaway Challenge in debatable fashion
, specifically when it came to former Blues player Alex Pietrangelo.
Hamm would certainly feel blue with a Blues loss.
