LOS ANGELES - The Winnipeg Jets conclude a four-game road trip tonight as they head to Los Angeles to take on the Kings.

It's the second meeting of the season between the two teams, with Los Angeles picking up a 5-1 victory in Winnipeg back on October 17.

Of course, it was that game that saw Gabriel Vilardi go down with the knee injury that kept him out of action until November 30. Since his return to the line-up, Vilardi has two points in six games - including the eventual game-winner in Anaheim earlier on the road trip.

Winnipeg (16-9-2) will be trying to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to San Jose last night at SAP Center. Tonight's game against the Kings concludes the second of eight sets of back-to-back games the Jets have on the schedule. So far, they're 1-0-0 in the back half of those situations this season.

Los Angeles (16-5-4) is just getting back from a four-game road trip of their own. After winning the first two games in Columbus and Montreal, the Kings dropped an overtime decision to the New York Islanders and a regulation defeat to the New York Rangers. Those two games represented the first setbacks the Kings have suffered on the road this season.

There won't be a morning skate for the Jets in Los Angeles, stay tuned for any line-up updates as they come available.
