It's Sens vs. Habs on Saturday night at Canadian Tire Centre! Here's everything you need to know before our 7 p.m. start against the Canadiens.

Line-up notes

A few tweaks to Sens head coach D.J. Smith's line-up that we can share heading into tonight's game against Montreal and we'll start with centre Josh Norris who's set to make his NHL debut. Norris has had a terrific first professional season in Belleville and currently sits near the top of league scoring at the time of his recall. For the coach, he's excited to see how Norris' game will translate at the highest level.
"Yesterday in practice, he was fast and we're looking for that speed," said Smith. "There certainly won't be as much room as there is in the American League but he has speed, he has skill, he can shoot the puck and I look forward to seeing him on the power play."
"We're going to give him a good opportunity to play and get some minutes," he added. "Sometimes you get called up and you don't get put in good spots but we're going to try to put him in some good spots and just let him play."

Head Coach D.J. Smith provides a line-up update.

The Sens have also recalled Christian Jaros from Belleville and he's expected to slot into Cody Goloubef's spot after the 30-year-old defender was claimed off waivers by Detroit yesterday. Jaros has appeared in 6 games with Ottawa this season recording a pair of assists and Smith has been pleased from what he's seen from Jaros to date.
"He's played well when he's come up the last couple of times," said the coach. "He's big, he's strong, he can skate and his last couple games here he was really physical for us. I've liked his game."
Smith also confirmed that Vladislav Namestnikov will miss his second consecutive game as Monday's NHL Trade Deadline approaches and the speedy winger seems to be drawing potential interest from other teams. It's possibile other players could be held out this evening as well so stayed tuned until warm-up where we'll also get an indication of which goaltender will get the start for the Senators.
Based off yesterday's line rushes and what the coach said this morning, here's a look at how the Sens' projected line-up could look...
Tkachuk - Pageau - Duclair
Ennis - Tierney - Brown
Paul - Norris - Batherson
Anisimov - White - Hawryluk
Chabot - Hainsey
Reilly - Zaitsev
Englund - Jaros

Previous meeting

These two teams last faced off a little over a month ago on Jan. 11th at Canadien Tire Centre where the visitng Canadiens left with a 2-1 overtime win. Drake Batherson netted his first goal of the season for the Sens in defeat while Marcus Hogberg stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced.
"Some nights it's harder when you don't get that many shots from the beginning," said Hogberg. "You have to be ready all the time and be aware that the game can be quick."
