The Sens look for their third win in a row tonight when they take on the Blackhawks in Chicago and we've got 5 things to get you ready for puck drop.

1. Starting Goalies

Mike Condon gets the nod in goal tonight for the Sens after picking up a pair on wins over the weekend. Condon came in in relief of Andrew Hammond against the Islanders on Sunday who left the game with an ankle injury. Head coach Guy Boucher mentioned today that it doesn't look too serious and expects Hammond to return to the club in a matter of days. In the interim, Matt O'Connor was recalled from Binghamton on an emergency basis and will back-up Condon tonight,

At the other end of the rink, Scott Darling gets the call for the Blackhawks. Darling has filled in admirably since being thrust into the starter's role when Corey Crawford having emergency appendectomy back on December 3rd and has rattled off 5 straight wins in his last 5 appearances.

2. Previous meeting

It's been close to a year since these teams last met and that was (unfortunately) a 3-0 Blackhawks win in Chicago back on January 3rd, 2016. Corey Crawford stopped all 26 shots he faced. It wasn't a bad showing from the Sens but they just couldn't get the offence going. Hopefully that's not the case tonight.
Here are the full game highlights if you're in to that kind of thing:

3. Projected line-up

Just one line-up change of note for tonight's game and that's the return of Mike Hoffman who just wrapped up serving a two-game suspension. His recent absence creating an opportunity for Zack Smith though who found some chemistry in Hoffman's spot along side Derick Brassard and Mark Stone which is something the coach isn't comfortable break up yet. As a result, Hoffman slots in with Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Tom Pyatt tonight while Curtis Lazar drops down and centres Chris Kelly and Chris Neil. These lines could obviously go out the window at a moments notice but that appears to be the plan to start tonight's game.
Here's how the lines and pairing are shaping up:

4. From the coach

On what he expects from the Blackhawks tonight:
If we come in here and expect to get a "B" game then we're sadly mistaken. Whether it's a measuring stick or it's a great challenge or however you want to put it, if we're not at the very top of our game then we can't win this. We have to be at our very best and offer a game where we're consistent and then we have a chance.

5. Where to watch

It's a bit of a weird time tonight so get set up for an 8:30 p.m. game start which you can watch on TSN5 and RDS2. Make sure to tune in early as well and check out the half-hour documentary that TSN shot about Chris Neil and reaching the 1,000 game plateau in the NHL at 8 p.m. Here's the teaser if you missed it:
