Owen Tippett scored twice for the Florida Panthers in a 3-2 preseason win against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday.
Tippett's first goal on a breakaway off a turnover put Florida ahead 2-1 at 2:23 of the third period. Frank Vatrano scored, and Spencer Knight made 23 saves for the Panthers, who have not lost in the preseason (5-0-0). Pierre-Edouard Bellemare scored his first goal for the Lightning after signing as a free agent July 28. Mikhail Sergachev scored, and Andrei Vasilevskiy made 16 saves for the Lightning (1-4-0).
