Each team held an optional morning skate. … Stars coach Ken Hitchcock said Hanzal is day-to-day now after leaving a 7-1 win against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday with a muscle strain. Hitchcock said Hanzal likely won't be fully healthy at any point this season and that the Stars will have to monitor his status moving forward.
