Malkin, 31, took part in an optional morning skate Tuesday wearing a regular jersey. He has missed the past three games because of a lower-body injury.

He practiced at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex on Monday, centering the second line between left wing Dominik Simon and right wing Bryan Rust.
The Penguins have won two of their three games without Malkin, who has five points (three goals, two assists) in five games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Hagelin, 29, was on the ice in a gray non-contact jersey for the morning skate. He has missed the past two games with an upper-body injury.
He wore a face shield during practice Monday, rotating at fourth-line left wing with Zach Aston-Reese and participating on the penalty kill. Hagelin has three points (two goals, one assist) playing second-line left wing during Pittsburgh's first six playoff games.
"I've been through injuries before, it's just the mental part," Hagelin said Monday. "You just have to know it comes with being in this industry."
Dumoulin, 26, wore a normal color jersey during the morning skate. He had left Game 2 at 4:23 of the second period with an upper-body injury stemming from a collision with Capitals forwards Alex Ovechkin and Tom Wilson. He had practiced Monday with regular defense partner Kris Letang and felt good, and said he felt the same after skating Tuesday.
"I'm going to try to get back," Dumoulin said Tuesday. "Hopefully be ready to go. Got to wait and see what the coaches say, talk to a couple of people and see. No issues at all. Just going to go into it today like normal and try to come here ready to play.
"It feels good, going through the normal process like I would if I was normally playing. Everything right now is normal, so that's good."
If Dumoulin can't play Tuesday, defenseman Matt Hunwick likely will enter the lineup for the first time in the postseason.
