Preview: Coyotes vs. Predators

GLENDALE -The Coyotes will host the Nashville Predators on Thursday night to close a three-game homestand at Gila River Arena. The puck drops at 7 p.m. Arizona time.
Arizona (3-6-0) has won two of its past three games, including a confidence-building 3-2 victory over San Jose on Tuesday.

Louis Domingue, who made a career-high 39 saves vs. the Sharks, will be back in goal. Domingue notched one of his two career shutouts vs. Nashville last season and owns a 1-0-1 record, a 0.98 goals-against average and a .970 save percentage against the Preds.
Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson will enter the game riding a four-game point streak. He has posted three goals and two assists during that stretch.
The Coyotes will play minues alternate captain Martin Hanzal, who ranks third in the NHL with a 62.9 face-off winning percentage, because of a lower-body injury and defenseman Michael Stone because of an upper-body injury. Meanwhile, forward Tobias Rieder is questionable because of a lower-body injury he suffered blocking a shot vs. the Sharks.
"Every team has injuries," Head Coach Dave Tippett said. "We're no different. We'll deal with it and (it's) great opportunity for some other players. We're going to have to really dig in. Nashville's a good team. They've got high-skilled forwards. We've got a really young group that's going to have to play well together if we want to be successful."

Forward Christian Dvorak, who was recalled from the American Hockey League on Thursday morning, will jump back into the lineup as center on the fourth line.
Nashville (3-5-1) is playing the final game of a five-game road trip. The Preds looked sharp on Tuesday when they beat Colorado, 5-1, for their first win on the journey.
"We have to move forward, and this is a good team," Head Coach Peter Laviolette told the team's web site. "They're probably in the same boat we're in, thinking they have to win a hockey game and push their way back to .500, so we expect it's going to be a good game; they have good, young talent."
Pekka Rinne is expected to start in goal on his 34th birthday. He owns a 15-6-1 record vs. the Coyotes, and a 2.00 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage. Six of his wins have been shutouts.
Filip Forsberg leads the team with seven points but is still seeking his first goal. He has produced seven points in six career games vs. the Coyotes.
P.K. Subban has chipped in two goals and three assists in his first season with Nashville. The Preds, of course, acquired Subban via a trade with Montreal that sent captain Shea Weber to the Habs. Mike Fischer has replaced Weber as captain.
Nashville will enter the game ranked second in the NHL in power-play percentage (33.3 percent) and tied for the league lead in power-play goals with 11.
