The 6-foot-2, 188-pound forward has played in 603 career regular-season NHL games over 11 seasons with the Carolina Hurricanes, Boston Bruins, Columbus Blue Jackets, Jets and Lightning, registering 172 points (63-109-172) and 140 penalty minutes.
The Consort, AB., native's career includes eight points (2-6-8) in 34 playoff games with the Bruins, Blue Jackets and most recently the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he played in two games for the club last spring.
Nash set his single-season career-high for goals (15), assists (26), and points (41) in 2017-18 while with the Bruins.
He was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round (21st overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
