At 0:35 of the second period in the Avalanche/Capitals game, Washington requested a Coach's Challenge to review whether Colorado was off-side prior to Nathan MacKinnon's goal.

After NHL Hockey Operations staff reviewed all available replays and consulted with the Linesman, the call on the ice was upheld -good goal Colorado Avalanche.
Since the Coach's Challenge did not result in the original call being overturned, the Washington Capitals are assessed a minor penalty for delaying the game.
