ARLINGTON, Va. -- T.J. Oshie will be a game-time decision for the Washington Capitals when they play the Detroit Red Wings at Capital One Arena on Tuesday (7:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, NBCSWA, NHL.TV) after missing the past 11 games with a concussion.

"My number was up on the board this morning, so all went well this morning," Oshie said after the Capitals morning skate. "It looks like I'll be back.
"I feel 100 percent. I feel ready to go and that gives me a lot of confidence I'm going to be able to go out there and do my job and not have to worry about getting re-hit, re-injured and I don't put my team in a vulnerable position by going out there at anything less than 100 percent."
Capitals coach Todd Reirden said the decision on Oshie's return will be based on how he's feeling when he arrives for the game.
"We'll see how he is tonight," Reirden said. "It's game-time, but things are definitely headed in that direction, so that will be exciting if we can get him back in there tonight."
The 31-year-old forward practiced Monday for the first time since he was injured on a hit from Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey on Nov. 14.
The Capitals are 9-2-0 without Oshie, but have missed him on their power play, which is 3-for-24 (12.5 percent) during the past eight games.
Oshie has 14 points (nine goals, five assists) in 18 games this season, including one goal and two assists on the power play.
"Obviously we miss him a lot," Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin said Monday. "He's our leader, our key guy in different positions. But for different guys it's a huge opportunity to take a step forward, just in case, in the future."
Forward Tom Wilson, who will miss his third game in a row with an upper-body injury, skated in a non-contact jersey Tuesday. Defenseman Brooks Orpik, who is recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and hasn't played since Oct. 27, has yet to resume skating.
